<rant about something people on DA might care about>
So, about a week ago, I was working on an assignment for one of my classes, and I was stuck, so I tried looking up some help on the intynet. Somehow, doing this I gave my wonderful laptop a trojan. So I looked around for how to get rid of the trojan, and there was really just one method, that involved downloading these two free anti trojan or whatever programs, and I had to run them in safemode and whatnot and then all would be good. So I get the programs, boot into safemode, run the first program, and halfway through the run I realize its found my wonderful Ultra Fractal to be a trojan. Now, unlike smart programs, this program did not give me the option to select what I wanted it to delete and not worry about, so it went ahead and just deleted Ultra Fractal from my system. I think I understand a little about why it did this (I did some weird stuff to my computer to get it to install and so the scanning program thought it looked funny) but now I have no Ultra Fractal.

So what's this mean? No more fractals for me, because I really don't feel like having to go through lots of stuff to get it back. Bobby said he might try to help me try to find something that'll work, but I give up. I had pretty much almost given up right before the last time I got Ultra Fractal to work on my laptop.

In other news, I'm helping out with graphics/publicity for 2008 I-Con, so I might start playing around in photoshop a bit more. I just wish I could get the drivers for my tablet to work with stupid Veesta...

<rant about being sick>
So, about two weeks ago, Bobby came down with the flu. He told me he didn't think it was the flu, but I know it was the flu because about a week ago, I got it and its the fucking flu. So when I got it, it was like, way bad, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday when apparently I had a fever so bad it was giving me killer headache that made my head hurt just moving my head. Oh, and same went for my eyes too, which is just weird. But it got better Thursday, which is when I lost my cell phone.

Yesterday, the club I hang out with on campus had its holiday celebration, which was cool and everything except when I woke up yesterday I felt a little like I was starting to lapse (my throat was a little more sore than it had been) and I don't think it helped that we ended the night with a massive amount of Rockband because Matt had just gotten it and everyone was psyched, so even though I realized my throat hurt and I shouldn't take part in the singing, wishing to communicate with people involved yelling because we were playing in the forum at midnight and there was nothing stopping us from really turning it up to jam out.

So, on the bright side, I don't see any need to yell for the next several days while I try to get unsick yet again, because my throat is killing me way badly (worse than it was bugging me when I had the fever and everything during the week) but I have three shifts of work between now and the end of tomorrow. And I'm a telemarketer. Which means I get to talk on the phone for 4 hours today, and 2 tomorrow (thank god the shifts are shorter because this week is finals week)
